Serve as the primary technical point of contact for projects and as the face of the engineering team to the customer.
Architecting and implementing ServiceNow IT Asset Management solutions, with deep expertise in ITAM solutions at the enterprise level
Ensure team organization, individual development, and communication are in-line with the Delivery vision; support teams to perform at a high level; foster inter-team collaboration and productivity
Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team and Delivery Organization on creating plans that drive results based on the customers’ requirements
Responsible for demos and delivery of additional documentation, proof of concepts, and knowledge transfer activities for project and crew members.
Deliver measurable positive results within the client and team’s timelines and budgets
Prepare and facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customers’ requirements.
Interact with the different architecture, platforms, application, and infrastructure teams to understand and design the solution
Work collaboratively with Project Managers to monitor for scope creep, and resolve critical path technical issues, complex business processes, and escalations from customers.
Suggest new ways to grow the ServiceNow domain which will often include learning or enhancing custom products and collaborating with the Engineering and Creative teams
Research industry impact and innovative opportunities for technical and business-related problems
Provide engineers with architectural blueprints/requirements for customizations, data migration, or integrations
Serve as the Technical Lead for ITAM project workstreams leading other technical resources
Developing and implementing enterprise-level ITAM service offerings
Working with functional counterparts to advise our clients on their overall Asset
Align staffing of billable personnel, maximizing ability to achieve billable utilization targets including consulting staff allocation.
Plan and communicate any/all capacity gaps by partnering with Talent Attraction for future hires.
Partner with all client principals to maintain and update accurate project forecasts with the ability to move fast to meet critical business needs.
Provide regional services management reporting and capacity recommendations based on business requirements.
Ensure skills inventory is updated and accurate in line with policy.
Lead stand-ups and weekly global resourcing meetings as needed, to manage resource pipeline.
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in support of business deliverables.
Expected Skills and expertise you should hold
8+ years of experience in IT Services or Engineering
5 years working on the ServiceNow Platform
Proven ability to consult as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in client environments.
Advanced level ability in the following product line(s): ITAM
Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITAM solutions in client environments; including prerequisite technologies such as CMDB, Common Services Data Models, SCCM, Discovery, Service Mapping, etc.
Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS, ILMT/BigFix
Strong scripting skills in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.
Ability to implement systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong knowledge of architecture principles for cloud-based platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in documenting roadmaps with functional design elements
Effective facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate a team
Strong problem-solving skills: ability to simplify complex situations
Ability to deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction
Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
Comfortable working with ambiguity and change
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for one or more of the ITAM products preferred
ServiceNow pre-sales accreditations in multiple product lines (ITAM) preferred
