Expected Role...

  • Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow ITSM solutions in client environments

  • Experience with ServiceNow for custom application design and development.

  • Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Knowledge of ITIL, minimum Foundation level, ideally higher

  • Proven experience with key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS

  • Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.

  • Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting systems, query optimization, and report-writing.

  • Customize ITSM ServiceNow applications

  • Experience with implementing integrations with ServiceNow ITSM Discovery and Core

  • Creation of script-based Assignment and Approval rules, custom-related lists, Access Control list, UI Policy, and client script.

  • Knowledge of ITIL V3 processes and hands-on with ITIL process implementation.

  • Conduct requirements gathering workshops


Expected Responsibilities...

  • Help integration team in planning and packaging the ServiceNow integration solution

  • Conduct ITSM Requirements Analysis sessions and customer workshop

  • Troubleshoot and support ServiceNow-based applications and systems

  • Draft use cases and functional requirements, proposals, and SOW documents for solutions

  • Reviewing and providing guidance on functional requirements documentation

  • May provide technical assistance in a pre-sales capacity

  • Design custom or product-based solutions based on ServiceNow applications


Expected Expertise or skills...

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM products (strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated Enterprise Architecture skills, especially in Enterprise System Management and IT Service Management space including the ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move projects forward.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and application development space.

  • 5+ years of client-facing consulting experience.

  • 5+ years of leadership-level experience with Enterprise Management tools and IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow (or BMC Remedy, etc.)

  • Passion for engineering science and technology. Applying principles and techniques to the design implementation of customer solutions.

  • Collaboration with customers - Including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Education:

University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Technology, Software Development, Business Information Sciences, or other degree/diploma related to software programming or coding, or equivalent experience
