ServiceNow Sol Architect - ITOM
Loc: Pune, Maharashtra, India Remote
The Role
Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in client environments
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM for custom application design and development.
Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Knowledge of ITIL, minimum Foundation level, ideally higher
Proven experience with key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.
Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting systems, query optimization, and report-writing.
Customize ITSM ServiceNow applications
Experience with implementing integrations with ServiceNow ITOM and other areas that complement ITOM expertise such as ITBM, SecOps, GRC, or SAM.
Creation of script-based Assignment and Approval rules, custom-related lists, Access Control lists, UI policies, and client scripts.
Knowledge of ITIL V3/4 processes and hands-on with ITIL process implementation.
Expert level proficiency in at least four product lines including current CIS certification in at least three of the four
Conduct requirements gathering workshops
Role and Responsibilities
Help the integration team in planning and packaging the ServiceNow integration solutions.
Lead workshops or integration/implementation projects as the SME in your field.
Work with Sales/Presales team on Demo and Proof of Value for prospective customers.
Conduct requirements Analysis sessions and customer workshop
Troubleshoot and support ServiceNow-based applications and systems
Draft use cases and functional requirements, proposals, and SOW documents for solutions
Reviewing and providing guidance on functional requirements documentation
May provide technical assistance in a pre-sales capacity
Design custom or product-based solutions based on ServiceNow applications
Needed Expertise
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM (ITBM, SecOps, GRC, SAM))
Demonstrated Enterprise Architecture skills, especially in Enterprise System Management and IT Service Management space including the ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move projects forward.
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and application development space.
5+ years of client-facing consulting experience.
5+ years of leadership-level experience with Enterprise Management tools and IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow (or BMC Remedy, etc.)
Passion for engineering science and technology. Applying principles and techniques to the design implementation of customer solutions.
Collaboration with customers is something you love to do! Including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Thrives in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Experience with IT systems and technology platforms
Adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment!
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
