POSITION SUMMARY
Business Analyst has the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify and verify requirements and specifications.
This position will provide this service as directed by the project stakeholders directly to the business, technology and end users. The Business Analyst (BA) serves as the conduit between the business or customer community and the software development team.
A Business Analyst (BA) is involved at some level throughout the entire system or software development life cycle. When the requirements baseline is established at the end of the Requirements and Design phases, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements during the Implementation and Testing phases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with project managers, lead developers and business users to formulize a business idea and define requests.
Interview business users, subject matter experts and Technology resources to elicit requirements.
Analyze gathered requirements data, verify requirements and create functional specifications.
Support the decision process for vendor/build solution options by providing a well defined gap analysis.
Work with Development and QA teams to transition business requirements into their respective parts of the development process.
Work with subject matter experts to produce relevant artifacts e.g. process flow charts, architectural diagrams, and design documents.
Create user documentation such as user guides, quick reference guides, and release notes.
Create technical documentation such as system administrator guides.
Business Analyst with corporate banking subject matter expertise.
Ability to understand the business requirements and scenarios, analyze and document.
Good exposure in corporate banking terminology, business processes and interactions is required.
Active listening skills, precision questioning techniques, conducting comprehensive requirements review, documenting requirements, and modeling solutions are required.
Understanding of testing principles, ability to write test cases and work with test team leads is expected.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Business Analysis in IT Sector
Exposure to Business Process Modeling would be an added benefit.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills (writing sample required).
Strong academics background required in finance.
IMPORTANT
Diploma or Graduation or Post Graduation in Japanese language JLPT Examinations - preferably Level 1 or Level 2 (JLPT1/JLPT2 Certified)
Need to have fluency in speaking to Japanese/Tokyo nationals.
Extensive knowledge of Japanese characters (both Simplified and Traditional) and Business Japanese terminologies.
Understanding on the construction of the complex sentences and grammar.
Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
Knowledge on typing Japanese with Japanese keyboard in the computer and identifying characters.
Should be able to Read, Write and Speak in Japanese.
Awareness of advanced search functionalities of Google search engine or equivalent
