Project Overview
Our client, a leading U.S. utility organization, is expanding its ServiceNow ecosystem to integrate Operational Technology (OT) assets alongside traditional IT assets within the CMDB and CSDM frameworks.This initiative involves defining enterprise-level architecture, structuring asset hierarchies, and ensuring adherence to FedRAMP High compliance standards.The role will also oversee data ingestion from OT monitoring tools such as Dragos, Nozomi, and Forescout, creating a unified and compliant enterprise asset model.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM solutions integrating both IT and OT assets.
Define enterprise data structures, asset hierarchies, and relationship models across environments.
Advise on platform architecture, data segregation, and multi-instance strategies (FedRAMP vs Commercial).
Collaborate with security, compliance, and process teams to maintain regulatory alignment.
Configure and optimize CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM integrations.
Contribute to instance governance and long-term platform strategy development.
Required Skills & Experience
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent experience.
Deep expertise in CMDB and CSDM data modeling.
Strong hands-on knowledge of ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
Experience in ITAM/EAM and integrating physical and virtual asset models.
Proven experience working with multi-instance architecture and FedRAMP environments.
Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) systems and integration tools.
Excellent advisory, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
