Project Overview

Our client, a leading U.S. utility organization, is expanding its ServiceNow ecosystem to integrate Operational Technology (OT) assets alongside traditional IT assets within the CMDB and CSDM frameworks.This initiative involves defining enterprise-level architecture, structuring asset hierarchies, and ensuring adherence to FedRAMP High compliance standards.The role will also oversee data ingestion from OT monitoring tools such as Dragos, Nozomi, and Forescout, creating a unified and compliant enterprise asset model.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM solutions integrating both IT and OT assets.

• Define enterprise data structures, asset hierarchies, and relationship models across environments.

• Advise on platform architecture, data segregation, and multi-instance strategies (FedRAMP vs Commercial).

• Collaborate with security, compliance, and process teams to maintain regulatory alignment.

• Configure and optimize CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM integrations.

• Contribute to instance governance and long-term platform strategy development.

Required Skills & Experience

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent experience.

• Deep expertise in CMDB and CSDM data modeling.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.

• Experience in ITAM/EAM and integrating physical and virtual asset models.

• Proven experience working with multi-instance architecture and FedRAMP environments.

• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) systems and integration tools.

• Excellent advisory, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
