ServiceNow Architect @ Pune | FT

The Architect level of engagement will vary by the complexity of each project. Some larger or more complex projects will require additional oversight while smaller, less complex projects may not require any. They will architect the solution and document it via stories in a consumable format for the developers to take action on (or develop on their own). They will then provide oversite to the development ensuring best practices are maintained.


  • Develop processes and applications on the ServiceNow platform that will provide operational and tactical business value for our clients

  • Develop technical requirements from business requirements to outline how to execute the previous responsibility.

  • Architect the solution and document it via stories in a consumable format for the developers to build out.

  • Stay current on technologies that are required for this development.

  • Learn new technologies and techniques that can bring benefit to Rede's future growth.

  • Participate in Agile Scrum process that is leveraged as the teams SDLC.

  • Ensure best practices are maintained by the Rede development team

  • Ensure Code Review process is maintained and adhered to by the development team.

  • Complete tasks assigned to team

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

  • At least 6+ years in a ServiceNow developer or higher role

  • ServiceNow certified Admin

  • ServiceNow certified Developer

  • ServiceNow certified Implementation Specialist

  • Multiple Micro and Suite certifications

  • Expert level of understanding of general ServiceNow platform functionality

  • Strong understanding of all of the following technologies – JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Webservices API (SOAP or REST), PowerShell, JSON, XML

  • ITIL Foundational Certification (preferred)

  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum development process

  • Strong aptitude for picking up new technologies through self-education

  • Understanding of LDAP and Active Directory

Other Position Requirements:

  • Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech or writing.

  • Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Use general office application tools (e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word, and Visio)

  • Worked on at least 6 customers

  • Led at least 4 technical scoping/requirements gathering calls

  • Participated in at least 4 architecture planning sessions

  • Architected at least 2 solutions that were handed off for others to build

  • Build and delivered at least 3 demos for customers

  • Fluent in ServiceNow development best practices

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification - required

  • ServiceNow Developer Certification - required

  • Service Now Implementation Specialist Certification – required

  • Multiple ServiceNow Micro and Suite certifications

  • ITIL Foundation highly desired

  • Agile Development a plus
